An Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm for Static and Dynamic Capacitated Arc Routing Problems

The Capacitated Arc Routing Problem (CARP) is a combinatorial optimization problem, which requires the identification of such route plans on given graph to number vehicles that generates least total cost. Dynamic CARP (DCARP) variation considers dynamic changes in problem. Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm an evolutionary was proven be able provide better performance than many other algorithms, but it not used for before. For this reason, study, ABC (CARP-ABC) developed along with new move operator CARP, sub-route plan operator. CARP-ABC tested both as and DCARP solver, then its compared existing algorithms. results showed excels finding relatively good quality solution short amount time, makes competitive solution. efficiency also more likely find solutions operators.
